are indexed in search engines, people can visit them through searching them in
the search engines. To submit your website/blog to the some of the most popular
search engines on the web, you will have to follow the following steps
-

How To Submit Site To
Baidu
Baidu, strong in Chinese language and
multi-media content, is the most used search engine in China. It is the leading
Chinese language search engine which provides a simple and reliable search
experience. In 2012, Baidu ranked 5th overall in the Alexa Internet rankings. Expanding your market on search engines like Baidu (besides
Google and Bing) can increase traffics to your site.
You have to submit a single main
domain (http://yoursite.com). Baidu does not allow you to submit more than one
url and then Baidu’s bot will crawl the rest of your website’s material.
1. Type your domain name/url (picture
below),
2. Enter the 4 letters/numbers in the
small box (below your domain/url),

How To Submit Site
To Yandex
Yandex is the largest search engine
in Russia. Yandex ranked as the 4th largest search engine worldwide, based on
information from Comscore.com. It is very easy to submit any site to
Yandex.

How To Submit Site To
AOL
AOL’s search engine doesn’t allow you to submit
your site directly. Instead, AOL's search draws from a number of sources, but
mostly from Google Search and DMOZ (the Open Directory), so
you should submit your site to both (Google and DMOZ) to receive visibility in
Aol.com’s engine.
How To Submit Site To
Ask
At present, it is not possible to submit a site to Ask search engine. Ask.com is a search engine with a difference. This search
engine is based on questions and answers. In 2010, Ask abandoned the search industry because it could not
compete with other popular search engines and the company outsourced its web
search technology and returned to its roots as a question and answer
site.
However, it is good for us that the
Ask agent crawls the Web, so if you have links pointing at your site from other
sites, it will be included automatically.
Final Words
It is very important to submit your
site to all major search engines (Google, Bing/MSN, Yahoo, Baidu, Yandex, AOL
and Ask). Search engine optimization should not be kept limited to the popular
search engines like Google, Bing or Yahoo. Limiting your
website submissions may not make your website a dominating one in the
world.
However, if you complete the above
mentioned steps, just keep patient and wait. It takes some time (several days,
weeks, or months) for the search engines to index your pages. If you submit more
than once, some search engines may consider this spamming which could result in
not indexing your site at all. Factors such as other websites pointing to your
site can affect this time as well.
