the current day in the calendar on your blog. Like clock widget, you should not
use this widget.
# Blog's Stats: The
widget shows the number of page views on your blog to the visitors. It is not
necessary.
# Archive: This widget
may hamper your professionalism. Instead, you can use Popular Post and/or
Recent Post Widget in your blog.
# Text: This gadget
helps the user to add a text message to the blog.
# Slideshow: With the
help of this widget, you can add a slideshow of your favourite photos to your
blog. But the slideshow increases your blog loading time. You can use the
slideshow widget if you have a particular intention.
# Video Bar: Using this
widget, you can show your readers YouTube clips to watch without leaving
the page. It increases your page loading time.
# News Gadgets: It
displays current headlines from the News agency to your blog.

unless it is important for your site.

Page loading time isn't as important as it once was. With a high speed connection my blog loads in under 2 seconds. And that is with about 15 different types of widgets on every page.Widgets can add a flavor to a blog that helps give it some pizazz. Most text only blogs put me to sleep. -my 2 cents
